All Marathon Shower Bases are fabricated to a continuous cast sheet of high gloss acrylic which is reinforced with multiple layers of fire retardent polyester resin and fiberglass. All whirlpool baths are self-contained, completely preplumbed and ready for installation.
Final installation measurements should be taken directly from your bathtub. All bathtubs are water tested for leaks and poper operations before leaving the factory. However, since damage may occur in transportation installer should test for leaks, proper operation, and insure the air line is connected from the pneumatic air switch to the pump / motor.
Plumbing and electrical codes require an access be provided by the installer for servicing the pump / motor.
Pump / Motor: 1 HP, 1 phase, 115 V, 60 HZ, 3450 RPM, premounted.
Electrical Requirements: 1 HP pump, 115 V, 20 amp, GFI protected circuit.
